Upon arrival, check in to your riad and enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the medina. Take in the views from the Spanish Mosque at sunset or enjoy mint tea in one of the local cafés.
Today is a full day to soak in the charm of Chefchaouen at your own pace. Wander through the narrow, cobblestone streets, browse the artisan shops, and visit local landmarks such as the Kasbah Museum and Ras El Maa waterfalls. The laid-back atmosphere makes it a perfect place to unwind and take in Morocco’s mountain life.
After breakfast you will leave Chefchaouen and head south. You may stop off at Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins through which wonderful columns are still to be seen, mosaics are everywhere and surrounded olives grow; Next, we continue to Meknes, an imperial city fortified with monumental gates. Among interesting places here are Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. By the end of afternoon, you will reach Fes. There you will check in and spend your evening at leisure.

Next keep driving to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.
