Wake early for the mystical sunrise over the dunes, after breakfast return by 4×4 to the village of Merzouga to meet your driver to drive up north to Fes. En route, traverse the verdant Ziz Valley and powerhouse Mid Atlas Mountains. Pause for lunch in Midelt and then drive through the cedar forests near Azrou, where you might see wild Barbary macaques. Later we drive past the “Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane, and its alpine architecture and clear mountain air. In the evening you will reach Fes, and your driver will drop you off at your hotel, where your tour ends.
