The journey starts in the busy coastal city of Casablanca with a visit to one of the most beautiful and largest mosques in the world, The Hassan II Mosque. After a brief city stroll, continue our road trip inland to Fes – the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Take in the evolving landscapes as you make your way, maybe even break for lunch in a nearby town. Arriving Fes, check in your charming riad located in the heart of old medina have a nice Moroccan dinner for your first taste from Moroccan hospitality.
Set out from Fes after an early breakfast and travel south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. In Ifrane visit the alpine architecture and then enter into the cedar forest of Azrou and maybe you will be fortunate enough to see Barbary apes! cross the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt then to the attractive Ziz Valley, loaded with palm trees and Kasbahs. Afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, on the border of Sahara Desert. Change to camels and head out slowly into the magical dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching the sunset. Take a night in a luxurious desert camp and enjoy Berber music, typical food & best of all, sky full of stars.
Wake up in the early morning to see the beautiful sunrise after that have a nice breakfast at the camp; Then take a 4×4 desert trip around Merzouga region. First visit Khamlia to hear the Gnawa music played by the descendants of Sub-Saharan African slaves. You will also encounter nomadic families, be taken to fossil sites and with luck see the seasonal body of water at Dayet Sriji. In the late afternoon, get back to the base of the dunes and check in at a desert Hotel or kasbah, where you can shower and wind down with an evening looking out across the desert sands.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO-protected a beautifully preserved ksar which has been in many world-famous movies and TV series. After sightseeing at this historical place, start the track on the High Atlas Mountains by crossing scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass and end up your day in Marrakech-based region.
